Baskets

Handwoven baskets in seagrass, jute, cotton rope and cane. They swallow the clutter that has no proper home, blankets, toys, shoes, firewood, and unlike a plastic tub they look intentional sitting in the corner of a living room.

Soft-sided baskets slouch when empty, which is fine for laundry and less good on an open shelf, where a stiffer cane or rope basket holds its line. Measure your shelf height and depth first, and allow a centimetre or two of variance, since each one is woven by hand rather than moulded.
